"The Legacy of Cormac McCarthy"

Our Fall 2024 McCarthy Society Conference will take place at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Knoxville, TN. 

​

Our keynote speaker will be author Ron Rash, who will speak on Friday evening. Rash is the author of the acclaimed novel Serena, as well as The Caretaker, The Risen, Above the Waterfall, The Cove, One Foot in Eden, Saints at the River, and The World Made Straight. He’s also written five collections of poems and seven short story collections. You can read more about him and his work here. We’re excited to have him with us!

Papers are welcome on all aspects of McCarthy's work. Please submit one- or two-paragraph proposals to cormacmccarthysociety@gmail.com by June 15.
